Well it shouldn’t be a surprise that I would want to pull together my favorite white t-shirts. It’s a great staple item to throw on under a jacket, under a sweater, with work out pants, with yoga pants, with sweatpants…I could go on and on. The problem is that the cheap white t-shirts either wear out too fast, lose their shape or ball up. Finding good quality is hard to come by – I’ve tried t-shirts from so many places and anything under $40 just doesn’t last. T-shirts from J. Crew get tiny little holes in the fabric, t-shirts from Target lose their shape, and t-shirts from the Gap seem to ball up. So I’ve curated 10 of my favorites based on quality, material and price.

Top 10 white t-shirts

These top picks probably seem too pricey for a t-shirt but most of them are either Pima cotton or have some modal fabric in them. Modal (little did I know) is a super soft fabric with just the right amount of stretch. For the James Perse shirts, I would consider going up a size. So if you’re a medium, typically you would get a “1” but I would go up to a “2”. Keep in mind, I’m only combing through Amazon, Neiman Marcus and James Perse websites. I’m sure there are plenty of other great choices out there but hopefully I’ve saved you some time by finding these top 10 picks.
